During this month he has meet so many family members and friends that love him so much. He is loved by so many. Who couldn't love him. He melts and molds right in your arms.
One Month Doctor's Appointment:
Weight: 7 lbs 12 oz
Height: 21 1/4 inches long
The Dr. also heard some clicking when she moved his hips so she ordered an ultrasound to see if he has some dislocation just to be sure.
He eats about 3-4 ounces every 2 and a half to 3 hours. He would sleep through the night if I let him. He needs to eat and gain weight for his surgery so I need to wake him up. Plus, he is still a little jaundice so I he needs to eat, eat, eat to be rid of all that "billireuban!" Poor little guy needed to have his blood drawn for this twice and boy did he let us know that he can cry and scream if he needs to. He definitely does not like this at all. He also enjoys laying on his back kicking and hitting the toys that dangle around him. Lucas seems to really loves the lights and looking at the Christmas tree!
Next week we visit the heart doctor at PCH. So many doctors and appointments for such a little guy but we are glad that he is surrounded by so many who only want what is best for him.
On a different note. Our little boy Lucas also has his own little nook in our master bedroom. The house we live in currently is only a 3 bedroom so we needed to make some room for this little guy. Thank goodness my mom came to town and helped me put it altogether. My sister-in-law Lisa was also a HUGE help with cleaning and helping me and my family when I was in the hospital.
Everyone who knows me and knows me well knows I love Christmas! I was so worried about how I was going to get it all accomplished. Mommy to the rescue and it is all up and glistens with beauty everywhere I turn.
To hear the laughter of a child,
To wake up with the love of your life,
To know that God has placed them
on this earth for you...
You are blessed!
