Fourteen Days!

In fourteen short days our little precious baby boy Lucas Clemente Espinoza will arrive.  We found out today that he will be born sometime after 7:45 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014.  We are so excited to have this sweet little bundle of Joy we can't wait!  Addison just cannot wait to meet her baby boy Lucas as she calls him.  She gives him hugs and kisses all the time.  Nicholas, well being a 17 year old doesn't really say much be he is excited that he will be boy and that he will be able to show him the ropes around the football and baseball field.  I am so excited to have someone as special as Nicholas to have Lucas live up to.  I know Nick and Addi both will be great role models for their little brother.

We are slowly getting things ready for his arrival but really do not have the extra room in the house to give him his own room but he will have his own small corner in our Master bedroom that will make him feel quite at home.  He has his crib, dresser, and shelves with all the major supplies that he needs thanks to wonderful Family and Friends who gave him the best needed gifts at his baby shower.  

Throughout this pregnancy there have been so many ups and downs.  Overall, I have enjoyed and felt this pregnancy was just as easy as my pregnancy with Addi.  We have just been given a little different news every so often that has needed to keep us on our toes.  We know that Lucas will be born and this precious little boy will bring joy and inspiration to many peoples lives.  We know that he will need to have surgery when he is four to six months old but he will be in the best of care with only the top doctor's taking care of him.  We also know that God has a special plan as to why he was selected to be in our family and that he will bless and teach us so many things that we were so unaware of.  We cannot wait for our "Baby Boy Lucas" to join our family and meet our special friends and touch all of our lives in ways we never knew existed.

Like all babies our baby boy is special.  He is fearfully and wonderfully made...!  We have so much to look forward to and to grow together and learn from each other how special and precious life is.

Please continue to pray for our baby boy!  He has many challenges to live with the first four to six months of his life with his heart defect and maybe more throughout the rest of his life.  We still have many unanswered questions to things unknown.  Please continue to keep our two other children Nicholas and Addison in your thoughts and prayers as they learn to deal and understand the limits and/or challenges their little baby brother will need to face.  Please continue to pray for Juan and I as we learn to take care of our sweet little boy with difficulties and have patients to undertake these huge challenges.  I know that through Him, "God," all things are truly possible...I know my family was selected purposefully to take on this challenge because we can and will rise to strive for what he
The Lord' thinks is BEST for our Son, Brother, Nephew, Grandson, or Cousin.
