Lucas Clemente's Baby Shower

I cannot believe that in less than 30 days our precious baby boy, Lucas will be here.  We have so much to do to get the last minute things together for his room space.  But I have complete faith that everything important that needs to be complete for his arrival will get done and the rest will happen as we truly need it.  "I guess this is the perks of have the 2nd, you know what can wait and what can't!"

This week, I was very fortunate to be on Fall Break so I was able to clean and prepare for the baby shower.  I really missed that my Mom and sister would not be here this time for the shower.  But it all worked out and I have wonderful family who helps and supports me on both sides.  I am extremely fortunate in that department!  I Love My Family!

I had a wonderful time planning and using Pinterest for inspiration to prepare for Baby Lucas' Baby Shower.  Sometimes it is a little overwhelming when browsing the site but I managed to really pick out the cute stuff I could do on a small budget but still make it all work out.  I love Dollar Stores for party planning, I do not know how people live without them.

I picked:
 Name Banner #1
 Cute Phrase Banner #2
These are always fun to make.  I use my Cricut Machine to make them and they always come out so cute.  This is a very inexpensive way to decorate if you are a scrapbooker...most of the time you have all the paper you need...I had everything I needed on hand leftover from previous projects so this was free, minus the time!
 Caution Welcome Wreath!
When I saw these on Pinterest I loved them!  I kinda took all the ones I saw and combined them together to end up with my own creation.  Many just wrapped the caution tape around the wreath, I added a little more but cutting small strips and tying knots to add the outside fringe.  Many of them used real plastic tools which I loved but they were not in my "dollar store" budget so I cut tools out of paper using my Cricut Machine..."It worked out perfectly!"  Finally I added a "Welcome Sign" to the bottom.  These were found in the Dollar Spot at Target.  They had Halloween sayings on them I just covered them up with paper and made my own signs.  I made for of them; 1:  Welcome, 2:  Dig In for the food area, 3:  Please Sign for the picture frame, 4:  Dump Gifts Here for the gift table.
Tonka Flower Pot
This was an idea I also saw.  Who doesn't like flowers and although it was a boy shower, ladies are coming and what lady doesn't enjoy flowers!  Cute greeting of all the guests who are arriving so they know they are at the right spot.

These are just a few other photos of decorations.

Now we just have to wait just a little while longer to meet this sweet little baby boy who will bless our lives in more than one way.
"I just Can't wait!"
