Squeezing it in!

Well, I didn't think Addi was going to start walking before her first birthday. She has been having really excellent balance for quite awhile. She will stand up in the middle of her crawls. She bear crawls just as fast as being on her knees ("she doesn't like all textures on her knees.") She also bear crawls when she has a dress on because her knees land on her dress and keep her from moving forward. She takes shimmy steps here and there since Father's Day but I would not have called her "walking." We can hold on to one or two hands and she will walk along with us. As of this week, one week before her first birthday I will say she is walking. Not only does she just stand up she takes 5-6 steps before plopping down all on her own. She walks from couch to couch. She looks as though she is running..."I think it is because she does not want to fall down so she tries to get there as fast as she can!" We were all excited to see her walking and moving around but we were in no hurry I/we wanted her to figure it out all on her own. So she was able to squeeze in walking just weeks before her 1st birthday. Yeah Addi!
