~AAH! A TEENAGER! HELP!~

Well, in less than 24 hours I am going to be a Mom to a 13 year old TEENAGER! I cannot believe it. He has grown so much in the seven years that I have been apart of his life. We have overcome many hurdles and are still making strides. So, since my loving son is turning 13, I would like to share with you 13 reasons why we are so proud to call him our son!

1. We love that you are a part of this family of four and add a small piece to make our family complete.


2. We love your sense of humor or should I say sarcasm. It makes us laugh all the time and keeps us all on our toes.


3. We enjoy watching your athletic ability grow in baseball. You have come a long ways since coach pitch little league on the Rockies. (It keeps us busy in the evenings and on the weekends)


4. We love that you are loyal and caring to your family and friends.


5. We encourage your love for adventure although it has nothing to do with rollor costers!(only dirt bikes, bikes, and skateboards)


6. I (Mom) love that your your Dad is your biggest Hero! (Sometimes it is amazing how you look at your Dad) (Sometimes I (Mom) wish you would not copy some things but oh well what do you do?)!


7. We love the way that you have grown to love and protect your little sister and keep her safe!


8. We love your love for animals! (Sometimes you take it a little too extreme)


9. We love that your interest in music...enjoy singing in the car, strumming the guitar, or banging on the drum. Music is a large part of your life!


10. We love that you have set goals to go to college to make a good life for yourself.


11. We love that you continue to grow and mature each year to become closer to being a mature young man ready to conquer the world! "Look out!"


12. We love that you have and are learning how to make good friend choices. It is important to be around people who are caring, respectful, responsible, fair, and trustworthy.


13. We hope that as you get older you will not forget to give us our own special hug and kiss each night before we go to bed.

We celebrated Nicholas' birthday today at the water park. He invited some of his closest friends and family members to come and join him. Tio Jose, Tia Stacie, Dylan, Christopher, Marissa, Rudy Jr. (Fito), Vincent, Nathaniel, John C, Noah, Julian, Addie, and Mom and Dad all had a great time spending the day with him. Happy 13th Birthday!
