Nicholas' Birthday and Baseball

Nicholas turned 12 on Sunday. I cannot believe that he will be a teenager next year! It seems like yesterday he was in first grade when I started dating his Dad! He and his cousins spent the day at the newly remodeled Wet~n~Wild. They had a fun time! We are going to have to buy the summer passes for next year so we can all go (Addi and I had to stay home because she is too little to be in that hot sun still). We were both really jealous! When they all got home around 7:30ish we had cake and ice cream. Silly Mom did not take any pictures of his cake this year though. I guess I just had a brain fart or something!

Now that Nicholas has started the seventh grade he was able to tryout for the Marley Park baseball team. He was very excited to be able to play for his school! He also made a travel ball team so we are very busy juggling the new baby, homework, and two baseball teams. He had his first game yesterday! They are a very young team with many kids who have never played before so they lost. But hopefully they will learn and get better as they play more games together.
